Ongoing project to intervene in the Town Commons park redesign and Greenville's recorded history. Our main focus is to rebuild the bell tower of Sycamore Hill Church as a historical landmark in Greenville. The Shore Drive neighborhood and Sycamore Hill Church were taken by redevelopment in the 1960's. This history has been forgotten by most of Greenville, especially in dominant historical accounts.
The effect this project has had on the total re-design of the park by the city of Greenville can be seen in their inclusion of the history in the design process throughout the park. The Final Master Plan for the park recommends building the proposed bell tower.
